Capture thoughts instantly
Global hotkey brings up a quick capture window from anywhere. Jot down the idea, hit enter, back to what I was doing.
Ideas don't wait. They show up while you're in another app, on a call, reading something. Quick capture catches them before they disappear.
How it works
⌥⇧N brings up a floating window from anywhere on your Mac. Type your thought. Press ⌘↩ to save and dismiss, or just Esc to close. Notes auto-save as you type. The hotkey is configurable in settings.
Where notes go
Captured notes land in your Inbox as markdown files. Process them later during a review.
Navigate recent captures
Use ⌘⇧[ and ⌘⇧] to flip through recent inbox notes without leaving the capture window.
Stay in flow
The whole point is speed. Appear, capture, disappear. You're back to what you were doing in seconds.
